On a Sunday afternoon I pulled off the freeway to grab lunch. Saw this place and went in. I am so glad I did. On Sunday the have a BBQ buffett.the food was great and the service was excellent. After you get your meet they bring you a list of sides that are included but not out making it a better value. One more thing ask for some Turkey that was the best meet
I cant say enough good things about this place. Order at the counter and within minutes you have your BBQ. Mac n' Cheese is great. Ribs fall of the bone, chicken is awesome.
All I can say is WOW!! I was in town for business and did not want to do the same old chain restaurants. I saw the sign for this place when I was looking for my hotel. After checking in I asked the desk clerk if the place was any good she quickly said yes. I went in not know what to expect I ordered a full rack of ribs sweet potato casserole and corn bread. We got Rudy's while making a cross country road trip from Massachusetts to Arizona. I called ahead for a pickup. The food was ready when I got there and the woman at the counter was nice and helped me quickly. When it came to the food, nothing was bad, but nothing was great. Stopped in halfway home from Cleveland. Pick this over the chains that populate the area! Sides are overly generous and perfect southern food. All three sauces were excellent. Home delivery available and Sunday buffets. They also run a local food truck.
Terrific BBQ, great (counter) service, very comfortable setting, and right off the freeway...outstanding! We tried and would recommend: brisket, turkey, mac&cheese, wings, spicy BBQ sauce. Sweet potatoes were great but would eat it like a dessert!
Visited this place on a drive back to Columbus. Very convenient location just off the highway. I ordered the pulled pork platter with Mac and cheese and scalloped corn. The boyfriend ordered the brisket sandwich platter with Mac and cheese and collard greens. Both of our meals were $21 total and it was a ton of food! Stopped in to Rudy's on our way home from Dayton. We weren't sure what to expect, but we did expect BBQ. I wanted a buffet, but there weren't any American buffets nearby. When we found Rudy's, they had a BBQ buffet, which was sweet. So that's what we ordered. They offered smoked brisket, smoked pulled chicken, meatballs, and smoked pork.
