The brisket here was quite good. Better than I expected. Service was a little gruff - not a problem really. But they were out of coleslaw which is sort of blasphemy for a BBQ joint. The fries were passable. Brisket is a great test for any BBQ place. I know pork is more popular in certain parts of the country - Indiana for example. Yet beef brisket is a tougher test because the fat more difficult to render and less open to integration after the cook. I like the coleslaw. I do not like the baked beans. Baked potato everything on it pretty yummy. Baked potato could use a little more barbecue sauce and cheese sauce. has lots of meat

I love this place! It is great food at a great price. For those of you craving smoked pulled pork or chicken so moist and juicy this is where you want to go! It's easy to get to right off Interstate 70. The closest intersection is I-70 and St Rt 72. They have sweet tea and other fine drinks. The no bake cookie they give with your purchase of $8.00 or more is awesome! They do fine catering as well woth boxed lunches for any size crowd. You will NOT be disappointed.

Great place. Everything they had on the menu is very good. It's probably one of the best BBQ places I've been to. Every time someone comes to visit me from out of town and we stop by Springfield we end up here. I love their food!!

My sister ate a brisket sandwich and potato salad. She said it was very good. I had the pulled pork sandwich and scalloped corn. I liked the pulled pork. However I did not care for the scalloped corn. I make the Jiffy corn bread recipe for scalloped corn and I like that much better. I would eat here again.

This is the closest to Texas BBQ (real BBQ) that I have found in Ohio. I've been missing Texas since we moved away- esp. the food. Yum! The brisket is damn near perfect.

While I was driving to move to Dayton, I stumbled upon this place. Oh my, so good. I always get the brisket. Only BBQ place I will choose it! And the sauces! So good, I use the left over on everything!

Feeling blues and life was not good I was seeking solace in a plater of real good bbq. Knowing that in these parts, real good bbq is hard to find, I took my chances with the joint that had a smoker in the parking lot. The folks behind the counter were friendly and the folks in the dinning room did not harass me. The food reminded me of Texas and that was deliciously fabulous.
