I really wanted to love this. The brisket was okay. The sweet potato casserole needs to be redone. It was more like a sweet potato pie filling from a can with some ingredients to make it seem more than it is. It was like baby food. The hush puppies were just okay. I wondered why this place was on Group On. I guess I got my answer. Overall...it seem expensive for the quality that was delivered. Hope Rudy's takes a good look at a few of their sides and make them excellent.

Great price and I love the variety of bbq sauce that they had! The meats are all great and I love the sides too! The max and cheese is a must and the corn bread is also great!

Good place for lunch or carry out. Barbecue ribs are solid, as well as the brisket. Pulled pork with the hot barbecue sauce is good as well. They serve bottled beer as well. Your order at the counter and wait for your number to be called the services typically good.

Excellent food; very nice place. You can takeout or order at counter and they'll call your number. The woman who took our order, realizing we were unfamiliar w the place, warned us from each getting an order of fries, since the orders are huge. I really appreciated that, and happily got the Mac and cheese instead; it was really good! Very casual place with good barbecue. If we lived nearby we'd go back for sure.

If you are looking for amazing fries and BBQ this is your quiet little local restaurant. Packed with local folks who clearly know about the smoked delicacies and abundant sides. The place is worn but charming with lots of phrases on the wall. Order your meal and find a seat. I would eat there again if I'm passing through.

Tried their award winning boneless rib sandwich on Texas toast with collard greens and scalloped potatoes. Everything here was cooked to perfection. The rib sandwich especially stood out with the perfect amount of sauce. Surprisingly, I didn't feel the need to add sauce - which I typically do at most barbecue restaurants. Going to Chicago from Radnor, Ohio, my husband and I drove. We pulled out from highway to Springfield, Ohio for gas up. I saw this smokehouse joint and since it was lunch time, we went in. We didn't regret our decision We ordered beef brisket sandwich plus 2 sides - corn bread and chili. Although, the burnt ends were very interesting , they were sold out. Love the chili and my husband ate all his sandwich If you are in Ohio, check it out. Good food. Polite people

Have been to Rudy's three times, so far. I have no complaints as the service and food were excellent. They have a wide variety of protein and styles of bbq. Highly recommend.

Got the lunch box. Ordered the chicken one which turned out to be a pulled chicken. It was very well seasoned chicken that came with a BBQ sauce. You get to pick one side which I choose the mac n cheese. It was a tad greasy with not a lot of flavor. For the drink i mixed the sweet tea with the lemonade. I would come back to try more items. It was great BBQ
