Stopped in last night for dinner before a concert in Dayton. Pulled pork, ribs, and Brisket were all very tasty. The Mac n cheese was very good too. We came here once about 2 years ago on a trip and we remembered how good it was and decided to stop again. Glad we did. It was just as good as we remembered.
I've only eaten Rudy's at catered events, but it's always delicious!! Rudy's always brings lots of food with awesome sides which are sure to please everyone! If I ever need to feed a crowd or am in charge of choosing the caterer, Rudy's is on the top of my list!
Best BBQ in Springfield. Ribs, brisket sandwich, green beans, fries, mac n cheese, you name it. If you are in the mood for soul food this is definitely place to go.
This is a great place to eat, staff is very polite and helpful, clean dining area , and all the I tried up to now are amazing! I recommend it if your in the area !
Visited this Springfield restaurant on a Saturday night while visiting Yellow Springs. Food was amazing, had the pulled pork (no bun), Mac & Cheese, and sweet potato casserole. You order at the counter and then seat yourself. They have Pepsi products and cold beer. Decent amount of parking available.
I placed a call ahead order of pulled pork and ribs for my family reunion. I planned to pick up the order at 2:00, I arrived at 2:30 but the cook wasn't aware of the order. I guess the front had not informed her of it. It wasn't a problem. She prepared it within minutes. My family kept asking where I got the ribs from. They were falling off the bone. Loved the ambiance and flavors of this smoked BBQ restaurant. Chicken was very flavorful and all of the multiple sauces provided a great variety of tastes. Mac and cheese and baked beans sides were delicious!! Definitely a lot of food. I would revisit when I am in town again. It's that good!
We have been looking for something different and we found Rudy's. We were quickly greeted and the menu explained to us as we had never been here before. The boys ordered a pulled pork sandwich and a boneless rib sandwich. One ordered potato salad and cornbread and the other bbq beans and scalloped corn. Food is good. Smoky flavor on the pulled pork. Half chicken was juicy. Hubby liked the collard greens and the coke slaw (which is very similar to KFC's). I had the corn soufflé and the corn bread (lg. muffin size). Hostess: friendly, lights were on but not sure anyone was home. No help in pointing out where anything is located (seating, dinnerware, bathrooms, etc.) Out-of-towners, so won't be back again, but wouldn't if we were local.
