I recently hired APEX Clean Air for a full residential vent cleaning. While the overall cleaning results were satisfactory, my experience was significantly diminished due to how an incident involving property damage was handled. I paid $1,900 for a service that I could off done myself, and the guy who did the work told me that he fixed something that I had fixed already, they came to my house three times and still didn't do the job right, don't waste your money with this company, a complete rip off.

They rescheduled 3 times, plus one time where the technician showed up at the wrong date. Their customer service is incapable of apologizing for the inconvenience they cause. Also, they offer free services for google reviews so that's why they have so many 5 star reviews. Called for routine maintenance of my five-year-old perfectly working system. Not only did the two service men not check or attempt to fill mini split system coolant nor provide a filter for system under the "performance check" ... I was given a laundry list of things that they suggested to be replaced. Called a competitor for a repeat maintenance check up and was given a far difference outlook on my system. Unfortunately, I must update my positive review to include a recent and disappointing experience I encountered with Apex. After initially contacting them to schedule an estimate to replace my A/C system (unaware they offered services beyond duct cleaning), I met with Seth. the tech that came at our house was only busy with selling us services valued at 2 thousand dollars. no matter what we chose or what we said the cost was 2k and we had to say no several times and just ended up with a few vents cleaned for 500usd

We got a new furnace installed on January 6, 2025 and today (February 18, 2025) is the 4th time our brand new heater has stopped working. I have nothing but positive things to say about the service guys but how can a company have something brand new break this many times without ordering a new one or offering a refund? They got my ducts clean but was supposed to include the cleaning of my dryer vent as well. I did not follow the guy around and assumed he had done it, but later found out, it was not done. How do I know, because I checked the vent from the outside and it was lined with about 20' of birds nests. I called / emailed Apex to let them know that this service was not performed but they never even bothered to call me back so won't be using them again and I recommend that others also go elsewhere. Worst company I've ever dealt with. From no-show appointments, to showing up without the proper tools, to telling me they rescheduled and then they didn't, to showing up an hour and fifteen minutes late, to not providing me with before and after pictures as promised - in the end it seems all is well, but you're better off finding someone else. And yes - they are trained to try and upsell you on anything and everything...
