Total rip off! Bunch of flunckys show up and do a half ass job. Stripped our intake grates. Now they fall off. Sold us $100 filter that was too restrictive for our heater / AC. Now its damaged. Tried to sell us some BS anti nite treatment. Please don't fall for these knuckleheads like we did. Save your money. Its a total waste of time, money and frustration

Had a very nice young man come to do a furnace inspection ($49) and vent cleaning ($39 for 10 vents and one return). The main ducts are not included. In my house(2000sqft) I have two main vents and 2 returns. The extra cost was a little over $200 +the original $39. Fair enough, I get it...there is always something extra that is not included. I feel it would be more honest to include 1 main (every furnace would have this) the 10 vents and one return for more money. There really isn't much of a point to do the vents without d... read more

Getting someone to answer the first time you call, is not likely to happen. It took me quite some time to even get my appointment scheduled. It was a pain but I had a KSL deal to use- so I dealt with the extra effort. The tech arrived in an unmarked vehicle- which is sketchy. Apex did a great job, BUT they kept insisting that I needed a LOT more done than I initially asked for. I got a second opinion and the one thing that DID need to be done, cost a LOT less than Apex wanted to charge (like $60 v. $250). Apex additionally... read more

Used a $39 furnace 21 point tuneup coupon. When the tech was finished, there wasn't any checklist, readings, or report. I didn't see him clean anything. However, he did use a sensitive gas leak detector and claimed to have found several gas leaks, including a leak in the furnace gas valve. Hmmm...I can't smell anything and no tech has ever mentioned it before, but OK I'll do a bubble test. What I got was a bill for $700.78 to replace the gas valve: $117 new, $45 used and $610.25 to replace short pieces of black pipe, f... read more

the tech was double booked and arrived at my home 5 hours late for cleaning. Owner said he would compensate for the inconvenience of taking off work. after three weeks and multiple phone calls, I received a $10 check in the mail. Not my kind of customer service from a business. will not recommend or use in the future.
