Originally quoted 299 over the phone, after getting here, said 599, and tried to scare us and thinking we had mold, but couldn't verify if it was mold legally. Told us it tested purple, and said really if we want to get it done it would be o2000 to get it completely taken care of. we told him we were not up for it, and he said the prices are good today only, coupon only works one time and only once per household. My god where do I begin. Received their $49 special in the mail. The guy with the sly smile on the right of the picture showed up saying he is the lead technician. Acts like your best friend and then starts the upsell. Starts at $179 to do the whole house. I am fine with that, but then says he took a picture of a "random" vent in my house, and it came back purple, which means it has mold, mildew, etc... and shows me the picture of my so-called vent with water in it, and can't perform the service, "by law", because it would b... read more

The way the evaluate cost on couple is different than they do on site. Price will hike a lot when tech is onsite. Also upsell a lot of services, end up cost several times than initial expectation. Cannot recommend them.

Apex Clean Air attempted to defraud us for $4000. Our technician, who said his name was Alex, took an air quality reading before performing our air duct cleaning. The reading was collected in the furthest back bedroom of my home, unsupervised. I never saw the device. A single reading was performed in a single room. I was only shown a photo of the reading on a phone.
