I called Apex to make an appointment for cleaning my air ducts and a furnace tune-up. My furnace was having problems heating my house. It would put out hot air occasionally, but usually it was cold. The furnace would run almost continually. The appointment was made a month after I called initially. Purchased a Groupon about two or three months ago to have ducts cleaned. Scheduled (they were about three weeks out on scheduling Groupons ) and expected them on October 11. Night before I get frantic texts and phone calls saying they were short staffed and asked if they could reschedule me and give me a 50 dollar credit toward additional vents or other services. I agreed. I have since tried calling (always getting voicemail) and not getting a return call despite leaving a message two or three times.

I will give a zero star if I could. I bought a groupon with them and waited 3 weeks for them to come out. The technician was 3 hours late. He tried to sell me things that's already included in the groupon and after I told him just to do everything that stays in the groupon, he got so upset and just storm out the door and left! He told me he had no time for this and asked me to go find another company. Seriously?!!!! I was simply ask him to honor the service on the groupon! Don't use this company and stay clear away!!!!!!!

I will give a zero star if I could. I bought a groupon with them and waited 3 weeks for them to come out. The technician was 3 hours late. He tried to sell me things that's already included in the groupon and after I told him just to do everything that stays in the groupon, he got so upset and just storm out the door and left! He told me he had no time for this and asked me to go find another company. Seriously?!!!! I was simply ask him to honor the service on the groupon! Don't use this company and stay clear away!!!!!!!

GET YOUR QUOTE IN WRITING!!! I was told I would be able to use a coupon as well as a groupon I bought. I also needed the coils in my furnace cleaned and was quoted $189 and they would clean one of the main lines for free. When the work was completed he would not accept the coupon, charged for the main line that I was told would be free and then charged for cleaning of the motor that I was never asked about. Total charges should have been just under $300 from what I was quoted. The bill given was over $700!!!!! I left voicem... read more

So It looks like these guys try to pull this BS everyone who orders groupon service. $55 for the 12 vents, main, and return. Yet, when they walk through and count your vents and returns, the price magically jumps to almost $600.. I asked him to do the 12 and he said that it wouldn't help and we would have worse air than before. I feel bad for the suckers that fall for their bait and switch.
