A great place in my backyard. I have only ever gotten the brisket and pulled pork, which are amazing!!!! The corn casserole, Mac and cheese, potato salad and to die for as well. You must get a fresh baked no baked cookie for dessert. They also have a lunch buffet at the limestone location, which is a nice spread of their options. :-)
I am torn on how to review Rudy's. We have been to the Limestone location several times since moving to the Springfield area. As far as the food, we mainly stick with the pulled pork and have found it consistently good. An order of fries is huge, so we usually get one order and share. Potato salad is pretty good, but I found the coleslaw and scalloped potatoes to be just average. Nobody in our family liked the baked beans. The scalloped corn and hush puppies were winners.
